Accompanied by his trusty horse "Dusty" or his original partner "Steel", "Cowboy Gary" uses sing-a-long songs and a fun filled presentation show children why each piece of cowboy clothing is perfect for cowboy work. Student volunteers get to come on stage and help with demonstrations. Songs both traditional and original make this a joyous occasion. The second half of the presentation begins with one of his equine buddies entering and bowing to the crowd. The new found ranch hands learn how to care for a horse and make it their friend. Then they learn how to put all of the gear onto their steed and why each part is perfect for cowboy work. Appropriate for grades Pre-School through Sixth. |
